Viñedo Amonites

Viñedo Amonites is a winery in General Cepeda, Coahuila. Per its own website, the vines were planted on 25 April 2021 at 1,300 metres above sea level, at 3,333 plants per hectare, around remains already on the land: ammonites, petrified wood and petroglyphs. The vineyard is voluntarily protected as a natural reserve, certified since 2022, covering 62 hectares. It opens Friday to Sunday for tours and tastings, and has lodging on site.
