Shedeh Vinícola

Shedeh takes its name from a red-grape drink of ancient Egypt, identified in an amphora from Tutankhamun's tomb. It is a boutique winery that farms by hand without chemicals, ferments in oak barrels after a cold soak and ages its wines at least 12 months in French and American oak barrels; the labels include Cabernet Sauvignon, Nebbiolo, Merlot, the Principio blend, a Sauvignon Blanc and the Conmemorativo. The tasting room opens Friday to Sunday afternoons, and Monday to Thursday only for groups of 10 or more by reservation.
