Casa Vegil

According to its website, Casa Vegil is a vineyard on Blvd. Metropolitano Corregidora – Huimilpan, Antigua Carretera Estatal 411, km 12+500, Vegil, Huimilpan, Querétaro. Its vineyard covers just over 15 hectares planted with the French varieties Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, planted gradually since 2017. According to its website, its microclimate, with cold nights and warmth during the day, gives it the acidity levels to make white and sparkling wines. The winery is housed in a former hacienda granary, whose thick walls and height keep a cool, microbiologically stable environment. It makes a Chardonnay aged 6 months in French oak barrels and rested another 6 months in bottle before release. Its sparkling wine FÜGI is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with 30 months on the lees, made by the traditional method.
