Vinícola Emevé

Vinícola Emevé is a winery located at Parcela 67 in El Porvenir, Baja California. Its website places the winery in San José de la Zorra, Ejido El Porvenir, in the Guadalupe Valley. According to its website, Mario Villarreal began planting grapes in 2004, had his first production in 2006 and started selling the wine in 2008; the name Emevé comes from his initials. It has 18 hectares of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Tempranillo, Malbec and Chardonnay, and produces about 60,000 bottles a year. Its Los Nietos wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, and Isabella is a young white wine made without barrel ageing. Its boutique offers tastings, and is open Monday to Thursday from 11:00 to 16:00 and Friday to Sunday from 11:00 to 17:00.
