Viñedo Toyan

Viñedo Toyan is a winery founded in 1995 in San Miguel de Allende, 15 minutes from the town centre; the winery says its medieval building houses “one of the deepest underground cellars in Mexico”. It offers three tours: Recorrido Plata (45 minutes, $490 MXN), Recorrido Oro (1.5 hours, $690 MXN) and Recorrido Diamante (2 hours, $990 MXN), all with access to the underground cellar, a wine tasting and snacks as pairings. On Wednesdays it serves a breakfast buffet of traditional Mexican dishes made with produce from its own garden, and on Saturdays its countryside kitchen serves charcoal pizzas and grilled meat. Open Monday through Saturday; closed Sundays.
