Nativo Vinicola

Nativo Vinícola began in 2007 as a family project, and the name of the winery and of its wines, such as Kumiai, Pai pai, Kiliwa and Cucapah, is a tribute to the native peoples of Baja California. Its online shop lists the Nebbiolo Cucapah, the Nebbiolo Kuri Kuri, the Cabernet Sauvignon PaiPai, the Syrah Kiliwa, the Kumiai red blend, the Sauvignon Blanc Auka, the Grenache rosé Kamiuli, a Petit Verdot and a Tempranillo-Cabernet Sauvignon. Tastings are of 3 or 4 labels, by reservation and for over-18s only. Per Google, it opens Friday to Sunday from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The winery has its own restaurant, Asador, where since 2017 chef Cristian Palacios cooks over embers and in a wood-fired oven.
