Casa de Sierra Nevada, A Belmond Hotel, San Miguel de Allende

Belmond's Casa de Sierra Nevada spreads its 37 rooms and suites across six historic houses in central San Miguel de Allende, among them the 16th-century Casa Principal, once an archbishop's home, and the 17th-century Casa Parque, a former fort. Its three Signature Suites have private terraces with plunge pools and views of the Parroquia. The hotel has two restaurants and two bars — Andanza hosts a guest winery each month — the Sazón cooking school, the Laja Spa and event spaces for 12 to 150 people.
